ZUT
The first RHD cartoon to be published in a ZUT-REP (ZUT-REP2). This was after the initial furor over the formation of ZUT died down, and after the Old Man at NMH ("Wild Bill" Dawson) finally joined.

RMCM Huffman: "I had a Italian Racing Red 1960 Alfa Romeo Sprint Coupe and it was the subject of many of RHD's cartoon efforts. The parking lot at NMC was not all that big and when the garbage truck came up he would always come too close to my pride and joy..."

RMC (Ret) HJ Beaudette: "It was at NMN, sometime between 1960 & 62. Uncle CD was our exec at the time. I owned a very large German Shepherd and the CO let me keep him on the base until my wife arrived in Virginia. Dave got a big kick out of "Big Boy. . ."

Jim Yount: Fred Seigel, as a result of medical problems, has only one good arm. He was snorkling in the Keys, but kept swimming circles, not covering very much of the ocean bottom. I kidded him ab out it, and when Ralph found out, he drew this cartoon. Being a laryngectome, I would have some difficult swimming as I breate through my neck!

NMC CWO's at Lunch
"On a regular trip to the City, two CWOs from NMC decided to stop by the "Off Broadway" and catch Carol Doda (the first stripper to have mammary enchancement via Silicone inject). Ralph heard about it, and this cartoon suddenly appeared to the monitor room bulletin board. This was just about the time when the CG had fallen prey to political correctness under the wing of the DOT, that is except for our XO, who was still a died in the wool T-Man." (Editor's Note: We think that "T" means "Treasury."
